NEW CANAAN, Conn. — The Easter weekend will mean several changes for New Canaan offices and other buildings.
New Canaan town offices in Town Hall, Vine Cottage and at Irwin Park will be closed Friday in observance of Good Friday. Irwin Park houses the planning and zoning, inland wetlands and building departments. Vine Cottage hosts the youth services office. Town offices will reopen Monday. The town’s transfer station will be open from 7 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. on Friday.
New Canaan Library will be open its usual hours on Friday and Saturday, but will be closed on Sunday for Easter.
New Canaan Public Schools and St. Aloysius School are closed for the week for spring break. St. Luke’s School and New Canaan Country School will be closed on Friday in observance of Good Friday.
