New Canaan Selectmen Approve New Roof For Waveny House

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The New Canann Board of Selectmen recently approved a project to repair the roof at Waveny House, along with several other project requested by the Department of Public Works, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.

The roof will be redone with engineered lumber at a cost of $120,500, the Advertiser said. Other items approved include:

approval of a contract to renovate the Vine Cottage;
installation of two high-pressure truck lifts for the Highway Department;
new furniture for Town Hall, and
installation of cameras in Town Hall.
