NEW CANAAN, Conn. — New Canaan commuters may have to find somewhere else to park for a while as the Lumberyard Lot on Elm Street is reclaimed and paved between Thursday and Aug. 23.

Parking at the New Canaan Train Station on Elm Street will be limited for the next week or so as it is reclaimed and paved.

While the work is being done parking will be limited at the lower parking lot at the train station, a town news release said.

Parking will be available at the lots off of Park Street, behind Town Hall, and at the Talmadge Hill station, the release said. Commuters are also asked in the release to find alternative means of parking such as carpooling, pick-up and drop-off, and should provide extra time in their morning commutes.
