NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- New leaders have been brought onboard at New Canaan's Glass House, a National Historic Site known for it's amazing art collections and exhibits, as well it's amazing buildings and landscaping.

The new leaders include Greg Sages as executive director, and a promoted position for Scott Drevnig as deputy director.

Sages joined the Glass House staff in 2009 after more than 25 years of financial and operational leadership in the corporate world, including positions at Asea Brown Boveri, Tenneco, and UIL Holdings, where he served as vice president of finance.

"The Glass House team and I look forward to continuing the legacy of Philip Johnson and David Whitney. We are also exploring ways to expand our community involvement in New Canaan and throughout Fairfield County,” said Sages.

Drevnig has served as director of development at the Glass House for the past three years, managing the site's development initiatives, growing revenue in all categories including institutional and individual giving, as well as special events, while also creating and growing significant corporate partnerships.

This year, Drevnzg’s leadership on the annual Summer Party resulted in the most successful fundraiser in the site's history and has forged new relationships with a range of top artists, architects, and designers.

Built between 1949 and 1995 by architect Philip Johnson, the Glass House is a National Trust Historic Site covering 49-acres that includes 14 structures, including the Glass House, and features a permanent collection of 20th-century painting and sculpture, along with temporary exhibitions.

The tour season runs from May through November and advance reservations are required. For more information, visit www.theglasshouse.org .
