Wednesday will be cooler than Tuesday, with more rain and much heavier winds. Temperatures aren't expected to break 60 degrees in the area with wind gusts out of the north of up to 40 mph. The chance of rain is 80 percent. Patchy fog is possible in the morning.

Wet fallen leaves can make for slippery road conditions and could slow drainage in storm drains and block up small streams and other waterways.

Traces of the coastal storm will linger Thursday with temperatures in the high 50s and a few scattered showers. Winds will be calmer with gusts of up to 18 mph.

Conditions will be clear by Friday with sunny skies and temperatures in the low 60s.
