Rising Temps Will Mark Weekend In New Canaan

Fairfield will see warm weather and a chance of thunderstorms Saturday followed by an even hotter Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Otherwise, the day will be mostly sunny with a high near 88. Chance of rain is 30 percent.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 67. Showers and thunderstorms may hit the area Saturday night before midnight. Chance of rain is 30 percent.

Sunday will be sunny and hot with a high surging to 91 degrees.
