Matthew Mills, 32, who now lives in New Jersey, was charged with interfering with police and second-degree breach of peace at a 5k charity run with hundreds of participants honoring Victoria Soto on Nov. 17, 2015.

Mills is accused of shoving a photograph in the face of Victoria Soto's sister while charging that Victoria never existed and the massacre never happened, the Connecticut Post reported.

Mills has been offered a one-year suspended sentence with two years of probation in exchange for a guilty plea, the Post said.

He must make a decision by his next court appearance set for April 18, the Post said.

Soto was one of six educators and 20 first-graders killed in the mass shooting on Dec. 14, 2012.
