A Winter Weather Advisory is in place for all of Fairfield County from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., prompting nearly every school district to call for early dismissal of students (list below).

Snow is expected across all of Connecticut, the Hudson Valley and northeast New Jersey.

Accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are possible across Fairfield County — even along the shoreline, the weather service said.

The snow should begin by late morning and last into early evening.

Temperatures will remain in the upper 20s.
