NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Wednesday, Dec. 25, is a federal holiday. Here’s a look at what will be open and what will be closed in New Canaan on Christmas.

What's Closed:

All schools within the town of New Canaan and all school offices will be closed.
New Canaan Town Hall and all town offices will be closed.
All post offices will be closed.
The New Canaan Public Library will be closed.
Most banks will be closed.
All courts and state and federal government offices will be closed.

What's Open:

Check with individual restaurants and retail outlets for any special holiday hours on Wednesday.
