NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Monday, Feb. 17, is Presidents Day, a federal holiday. Here's a look at what will be open and what will be closed in New Canaan.

What's closed:

  • All schools within the town of New Canaan and all school offices.
  • New Canaan Town Hall and all town offices.
  • All post offices and no mail will be delivered.
  • The New Canaan Public Library.
  • Most banks.
  • All courts and state and federal government offices.

What's open:

  • Check with individual restaurants and retail outlets for any special holiday hours.
