Silvermine Community Association Awards Two Scholarships In New Canaan

NEW CANAAN, Conn. – The Silvermine Community Association, which serves New Canaan, Norwalk, and Wilton, recently awarded two college scholarships.

Robert Lewis-Zimmerman, of Norwalk, and Sam Schmitt, of Wilton, are the 2015 scholarship recipients, according to a press release.

The Silvermine neighborhood fully funds the scholarships, which usually range from $250 to $3,000 each.

The group has awarded at least one annual scholarship for over five decades.
