Spring Sun to Shine on New Canaan

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Wednesday will be a beautiful day in Fairfield County — and Thursday should be spectacular.

65 degrees and sunny, anyone?

The forecast for the next 48 hours is for serious spring from Greenwich to Norwalk to Fairfield to Weston and Wilton. Temperatures should reach the mid-50s on Wednesday and soar into the mid-60s on Thursday — all under sunny skies, the National Weather Service says.

Nights will remain cool and the next chance of rain comes late Thursday night into Friday morning, when temperatures will dip back into the low-50s, the Weather Service says.

Temperatures should then get warmer again through the weekend, reaching the high 50s by Sunday and Monday, the Weather Service says.
