In the interview, Nash talked about her life today as she strives to be independent, living alone in an apartment in Boston near Brigham & Women's Hospital with minimal help. She spoke openly about her medical care and about her desire to ride horses again. Viera and Nash even went out shopping together.

At the end of the segment, Viera said that Nash has expressed an interest in returning to live in Connecticut.
