Original story: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Commuters who headed out Wednesday morning and chose to travel by train are facing large delays, Metro-North announced.
Riders on the New Haven Line should anticipate systemwide delays of up to 30 minutes due to power problems caused by severe weather conditions, Metro-North said. Similar delays were reported on the Hudson and Harlem lines in New York.
New Canaan Branch service was suspended at about 8:30 a.m. due to power problems in the vicinity of Talmadge Hill caused by severe weather conditions but returned to service a bit later.
