Wet Weather Will Return To New Canaan

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Sunny skies will prevail over Fairfield County through Thursday before a new weather system brings rain to the area to end the week, the National Weather Service said.

Thursday will be the best day of the week with abundant sun and high temperatures of about 52 degrees.

Showers and possible thunderstorms will move into the area Friday after 7 a.m. High temperatures will be around 57 degrees. The chance of rain is 70 percent. 

Showers could linger on Saturday morning before clearing, with a high of 54 degrees. 

Easter Sunday will be sunny but slightly cooler with a high of about 49 degrees.
