William E. Iaizzi, 67, a longtime New Canaan resident, died Aug. 4. Born Nov. 22, 1943, he was a resident of Trumbull. He served during in the Signal Corps in the Vietnam War and was employed at Perkin Elmer Corporation for many years in the packaging department.
He is survived by three brothers, Anthony J. Iaizzi of Trumbull, Eugene S. Iaizzi of Bridgeport and George J. Iaizzi of Palm Coast, Fla.; and a nephew, Mark Iaizzi. A Mass will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at St Aloysius Church in New Canaan. A reception will follow at Stapleton Hall. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice, 99 Hawley Lane, Suite 1204, Stratford, CT 06614.
