In conversation and in writing, people who knew her prefaced the word "Linea" with "my best friend." She cherished her mother, Edna, and always said that Edna was her best friend. Through the years, scores of cats had relied upon her as their best friend. Those who did not make their home with her were the benefactors of her years of work at her beloved Strays and Others. She was devoted, ethical, lyrical, driven, original, unique and willing to do the hard work any situation called for. Linea's beauty shone from her soul out. She believed the best of people. She believed the best of life. She was my best friend as well. Love, Pricia.
