Philipcik was born on June 3, 1927, in Danbury, to William and Annie Creagh/.
She graduated from New Canaan High School and worked as a secretary for Pitney Bowes. She married William "Push" Philipcik in 1952. She was a lifetime member of St. Aloysius Church and a devoted parishioner.
Philipcik is survived by her seven children, Linda Philipcik, William Philipcik, Laura Wade(Bernard), Diane Gazzini, Amy Reilly(David), John Philipcik, Wendy Smalick, and eight grandchildren, Christopher, Jeffrey, and Chelsea Wade, Benjamin Gazzini, Kevin and Sean Reilly, and Margaret and Samantha Smalick.
She is also survived by two sisters Frances Gesualdi and Patricia Creagh.
She was predeceased by her husband and two sisters, Katherine A. Creagh and Theresa C. Vitti.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St. New Canaan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 16, 11 a.m., at St. Aloysius Church in New Canaan.
Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Darien.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to New Canaan Ambulance Corps or Waveny Home Care.
