Werner L. J. Pfister, 62, Of Fairfield, Ferrari Specialist

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Werner L.J. Pfister of Fairfield died Sunday, March 24. He was 62.

Pfister was born in Grossheubach, Germany, to Willi Pfister and to Marianne Ripberger Pfister.

He began his career as an underwriter for the Fireman Fund Insurance and became a strategic planner for American Express. He was a sales manager at Miller Motors Cars, specializing in Ferrari and Bugatti.

Pfister is survived by his wife, Eilzabeth; mother, Marianne, of Lighthouse Point, Fla.; children, Erika Tubridy (Thaddeus) of Rye Brook, N.Y., Jessica Pfister (Keith) Porco of Scarsdale, N.Y. and William Pfister of Fairfield; brother, Wolfgang Robert Pfister (Christine) of Bronx, N.Y.; grandson; many other relatives and friends.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road, Fairfield Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, March 27 at 10 a.m. directly at St. Pius X Church in Fairfield. Interment will be private.
