90-Year-Old Driver Killed In Two-Car Crash In Newtown

NEWTOWN, Conn. -- Newtown police are investigating the cause of a two-car crash Sunday night on South Main Street that killed a 90-year-old Brookfield man and left the other driver with injuries, according to the News-Times website.

Police said Henry Petrucelli was killed instantly when his Honda Civic, traveling north on Main Street near Botsford Hill Road, was hit by a pickup truck at about 8 p.m., the News-Times reports.

The 33-year-old pickup truck driver, who is from Shelton, was taken to Danbury Hospital for treatment of injuries, the News-Times said.
