NEW CANAAN, Conn. — A bicyclist was injured Tuesday afternoon after an accident on Ponus Ridge Road in New Canaan, police said.
The cyclist sustained a hand injury and was transported to the hospital for treatment, Sgt. Carol Ogrinc said.
There was no vehicle involved, and the cause of the accident was unknown, she said.
“I am not sure why (the cyclist) had an accident,” Ogrinc said. She did not know the identity of the victim.
