Police responded to a Greenwood Avenue home just before midnight on Thursday, June 8 on a report of a loud party. Officers met the resident, who said he had had some friends over for a bonfire. While they were talking to him, police said they saw several people running from the property.

The resident told the officers he was 21, but it was later confirmed he was only 19, police said. Officers saw signs of a party, including red cups and empty beer cans scattered around the area. Two 19-year-old guests who appeared intoxicated were turned over to their parents, police said.

The host denied providing the alcohol, but he declined to identify who had brought it, police said. He was charged with providing alcohol to minors and released on a $500 bond. The bonfire was extinguished by the officers before they left the scene.
