Greenwich Gas Station Clerk Allegedly Made Physical Contact With Customer

A Greenwich gas station employee was arrested after having physical contact with a customer, according to Greenwich Police.

The incident took place around 3:40 p.m. Wednesday at the station on East Putnam Avenue when Raza Jafri, 53, of Stamford, had words with a customer and allegedly grabbed the customer by the shirt, police said.

Jafri was charged with disorderly conduct and released. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 30.
