Police told the Stamford Advocate that the 27-year-old man was found bleeding from the face outside the strip club on Poplar Street in the early morning hours of Monday. The man told police that he had trouble remembering, but he had left the club at around 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, the Stamford Advocate reported. He woke up inside the Connecticut Stone property on Larkin Street, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The man thought he had been assaulted, and police found several pools of blood nearby, according to the Stamford Advocate. Police are looking into whether he was assaulted or fell, according to the Stamford Advocate.
