Men Armed With Screwdriver Rob Stamford Man In His Home

STAMFORD, Conn. — A group of men followed a Stamford man into his Leon Place home on Saturday morning and robbed him, according to the Stamford Advocate.

A Stamford man told police that he was robbed in his home by three men who threatened him with a screwdriver, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The man told police that he was walking to his home at around 3:30 a.m. when he saw the group of three men standing outside, the Stamford Advocate reported. When he went inside, they followed him in and threatened him with a screwdriver, according to the Stamford Advocate.

They tried to grab him and a struggle ensued, but he broke free and ran to the third floor of the home before they caught up with him and demanded money, police told the Stamford Advocate. He gave them about $20 and they ran off when he yelled for his roommate to help, according to the Stamford Advocate.
