New Canaan House Fire Extinguished

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- A fire at an empty River Street residence that was being renovated was knocked out by firefighters Friday, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.

There were no injuries from the fire that broke out in a wall of the duplex, fire officials told the New Canaan Advertiser.

The attic of the home filled up with smoke. The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
