Elizabeth Hanson, of 73 River St., was charged with two counts each of possession of narcotics and selling narcotics. She was released on a promise to appear in court.

Police executed a search warrant and arrest warrant on March 2 at her residence after what police said was an extensive investigation led by Sgt. Andrew Walsh.

The arrest warrants were a result of two separate occasions in which Hanson sold narcotics to an undercover police officer, police said.

A search of her residence yielded a small amount of heroin and empty bags containing heroin residue inside Hanson’s bedroom, police said.
