New Canaan Police Probe Damage To Golf Course

NEW CANAAN, Conn. – Nearly $7,500 in damage to a golf course at the Country Club of New Canaan is being investigated by New Canaan Police.

The damage reportedly took place sometime between 8 p.m. Jan. 27 and 8:48 a.m. Jan. 28.

Police said the damage, apparently caused by an all-terrain vehicle, occurred on the fairway leading to the second hole of the course. Groundskeepers noticed the damage on the morning of Jan. 28..
