New Canaan Police Remind Residents: Keep Your Packages Safe

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — New Canaan Police are reminding residents to safeguard deliveries now that the holiday season is fast approaching.

"Thieves tend to target packages that are delivered and left in plain view," police said in via Twitter. "Install cameras in areas where packages are delivered and have packages dropped off out of view from the street."

Anyone with questions should call the New Canaan Police Department at 203-594-3500, or 911 in a case of an emergency.
