New Canaan Woman Charged After Car Crash

original story: NEW CANAAN, Conn. — A New Canaan woman has pleaded not guilty in a drunken driving investigation dating to March, according to the state’s judicial website.

According to New Canaan Police, on March 28 a vehicle driven by Cybelle Santodomingo crossed the center line on Silvermine Road and hit a vehicle heading in the other direction near the curve at Carter Street. 

An email from Sgt. Carol Ogrinc, public information officer for New Canaan Police Department, said both drivers were taken to the hospital for treatment, the email said.

Santodomingo turned herself in on June 10 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and failure to drive to the right, the email said. She was released on a surety bond, and is scheduled to appear in court again on Aug. 26, according to the state’s judicial website.
