Kyler Cottrell, 29, of 186 Lakeview Ave., Apt. B2, New Canaan, was charged Wednesday with first-degree larceny and third-degree burglary. Her bond was set at $10,000, and she was scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Norwalk on Wednesday.

Police said the Gerdes Road resident reported the theft Dec. 7. There were no signs of forced entry into the home, police said.

New Canaan Police did not detail the value of the stolen items. There was also no information released by police on the connection — if any — between the victim and the accused.
