Tiffany Hall, 24, was charged with interfering with an officer, second-degree breach of peace, assault on a peace officer and operating without a license. She was held on $10,000 bond and will appear in court Aug. 3.

Officers responded to the Duchess on Main Avenue at about 1:30 a.m. Friday on a report of a woman passed out behind the wheel of her car in the drive-through, police said. When they arrived, officers found the woman and called paramedics to deal with a potential medical issue, police said.

When the woman woke up, she was uncooperative, and called her daughter to come to the scene, police said.

When the woman's daughter, Hall, arrived, she went into the ambulance to see to her mother, police said.

After a while, police said the officers tried to get Hall to leave the ambulance to allow the paramedics to do their job. Hall became belligerent and refused to calm down, according to police reports. She eventually hit an officer in the face with her hand, police said. She was placed under arrest.
