Norwalk Woman Charged With Selling Heroin

NORWALK, Conn. -- A Norwalk woman was arrested on multiple charges of selling heroin out of her apartment in the city, police said.

Mary Wilson, 52, was charged with sale of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia within 1,500 feet of a school, sale within distance of a school, illegal possession near a school, possession of narcotics, possession of paraphernalia, and failure to appear in court. She was held on $25,000 bond and will appear in court July 10.

The Special Services Unit conducted an investigation into Wilson after learning that she was selling heroin out of her apartment, according to police reports. Officers went to her apartment on West Cedar Street on Wednesday morning and found her outside, police said. They placed her under arrest on a warrant on a charge of failure to appear in court.

When they searched her, officers found three folds of heroin in her possession, police said. They then searched her apartment and found four additional folds of heroin, as well as 189 unused folds that are used to package heroin, according to police reports.
