NEW CANAAN, Conn. — A Norwalk woman was charged with reckless driving and drunken driving in connection with a rollover crash in New Canaan last month, police said.

Emily Anne Hogan, 37, of 500 West Ave., was arrested late Monday afternoon after turning herself in to police on an active warrant.

The one-car crash occurred just after 9 p.m. Nov. 21 near 120 Parade Hill Road in New Canaan, police said.

The vehicle driven by Hogan skidded 85 feet on the roadway, hit a storm drain, went up an embankment and struck a tree, police said. The car rolled over during the accident, police said.

The vehicle came to rest back in the roadway, police said.

Officers found an empty beer bottle and an open and a partially empty bottle of wine inside the car after crash, police said.

Police obtained a warrant and Hogan was arrested and charged with reckless driving and driving under the influence, police said. She was released after posting $5,000 bond for a Dec. 22 court date.
