Angelita Vasquez-Rodriguez, 47, of Manhattan, was charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace. She was held on $2,500 bond and will appear in court July 29.

Police were called to Fiesta Mexico on Fort Point Street at 1:20 a.m. Sunday on a report of an assault. A 35-year-old woman told police that she was hanging out with her friends at the bar and was confronted by another woman, later identified as Vasquez-Rodriguez, when she went to the bathroom.

The victim did not know Vasquez-Rodriguez, who was upset that the woman had apparently given her a mean look, according to police reports. She then proceeded to grab the woman by the hair, punch her in the face and bite her on the right arm, according to police.

The woman walked out of the bathroom and called police. When officers arrived, they saw bite marks on the woman's arm and paramedics were called, police said. The woman pointed out Vasquez-Rodriguez, who was still in the club and was arrested, police said.
