Police: Jewelry, Firearm Stolen From New Canaan Home

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — New Canaan police were investigating a burglary at a home and its garage apartment on Mortimer Street on Wednesday night,, the New Canaan Advertiser reported.

Jewelry and a firearm were reported stolen, the Advertiser said.

The garage apartment had been left unlocked, and the main residence was entered forcibly, police told the Advertiser.
