Douglas Horne, 23, was charged with carrying a facsimile firearm, first-degree threatening, first-degree reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He was held on $10,000 bond and will appear in court Jan. 12.
Officers were called to a Dry Hill Road home at about 4:30 p.m. Monday on a report of a man pulling a firearm on a woman, police said.
When officers arrived, they spoke to the woman, who said that she and two friends were visiting the home when she got in an argument with Horne, an acquaintance, police said. She told police that Horne pulled the firearm out of his pants and put it against her head, threatening to fire. She hit him and fled with her two friends before calling the police, police said.
Officers responded to the house and made contact with a woman who was pulling into the driveway, police said. She was a relative of Horne's, and said that he had multiple pellet guns in the house but that he did not own a real gun, police said.
She contacted him on the phone and told him to come out with his hands up, police said. He complied with the request and was taken into custody, police said. Officers found several pellet guns in the home, police said.
