Police Respond To Man Lying On I-95 Median In Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. — A man lying in the median of I-95 in Greenwich was taken to the hospital early Monday morning, according to Greenwich Time.

The incident took place between exit 2 and 3 on I-95 north at around 2 a.m., police told Greenwich Time. A vehicle had pulled over due to a medical emergency, and a man was lying in the median, prompting a response from state police and paramedics from Greenwich, according to Greenwich Time.

State police told Greenwich Time that the man was not a pedestrian, and was alive when medical personnel arrived on scene. The incident prompted the left lane to be closed for a short amount of time, Greenwich Time reported.
