Police: Stamford Man Attacked In His Apartment By Three Men With Hammer

STAMFORD, Conn. — A hammer-wielding attacker and three others forced their way into a Stamford apartment on Connecticut Avenue and attacked the man who lived there, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The man was hit in the head, back midsection in the attack, which occurred Saturday afternoon, The Advocate said.

Police told the Advocate that before the attack, the victim, from his window, saw a man break his car's windshield with a hammer and two others slash the tires with knives.

Officers seized the hammer as part of the ongoing investigation, the Advocate said.
