Ponus Ridge Car Crash Under Investigation in New Canaan

NEW CANAAN, Conn.  – A car wreck last month in which four people were injured is still being investigated by New Canaan Police.

The accident occurred Jan. 22 at about 10:18 p.m. when a vehicle driven by a 21-year-old Stamford man went out of control on Ponus Ridge Road, hit a wire guardrail and veered to the other side of the road, according to the police report. The driver and three passengers, all 19 years old, were taken to Norwalk Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Police said charges are pending.
