Stamford Man Kidnapped, Beaten And Robbed By Four Men In Car

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Four men grabbed a Stamford man while he was walking near the corner of Greenwich Avenue and Milton Street early Tuesday morning, pulling him into a car and driving him to Cummings Beach, where they beat and robbed him, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The 26-year-old man reported to police that he was walking home at around 2:30 a.m. when the car pulled up to him and two men jumped out and grabbed him, according to the Stamford Advocate. They pulled him into the car and sat on him while they drove to Cummings Beach, where they took him out of the car and kicked him in the stomach, the Stamford Advocate reported.

Police told the Stamford Advocate that after the men kicked him, they grabbed his wallet, which had about $250 in it. They then drove off, and the man walked to a nearby Dunkin' Donuts and called his brother, according to the Stamford Advocate. The police were notified shortly afterwards, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Police are investigating the incident and were looking for possible video of the abduction or beating, according to the Stamford Advocate. No suspects have yet been identified, the Stamford Advocate reported.
