Joseph Caputo, 23, who jumped the fence last Thanksgiving, pled guilty to unlawfully entry onto restricted grounds, said the Stamford Advocate.
In exchange for pleading guilty, prosecutors will not ask for jail time, but can ask for up to three years of probation. In addition, he has agreed not to visit D.C. during his probation, added the Stamford Advocate.
Caputo jumped over the fence wearing white pants with an American flag tied around his neck along with "his" version of the Constitution held in his teeth. He told the Secret Service that he just wanted to share his ideas on what the country should stand for and didn't want to hurt the president, said the Stamford Advocate.
Caputo's sentencing is set for Dec. 6.
