Police said that on Monday, April 10 a car was seen backed into a corner parking spot at the school at around 9:40 p.m. When the 18-year-old driver spotted a marked police car in the area, he started to leave the lot and was stopped, police said.
Officers detected the odor of marijuana in the vehicle, and the driver admitted that there was marijuana and paraphernalia in the car, police said. He consented to let the officers search the car, and they found a backpack with two bongs, a butane torch and a can of butane, according to police. They also found cookie wrapped in paper that tested positive for marijuana, police said.
The teen was issued an infraction ticket for possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
