Two Arrested After Chase In Stolen Car From Greenwich To Stamford

GREENWICH, Conn. — Two juveniles were arrested and more suspects are being sought after a chase from Greenwich ended with a crash in Stamford on Christmas night, according to Greenwich Time.

The chase began when a police car pulled up behind two cars at an entrance ramp to I-95 at Indian Field Road in Greenwich late Monday night, according to Greenwich Time. Upon seeing the police car, the cars took off onto I-95 at a high rate of speed, Greenwich Time reported. Officers pursued the two cars, identified as an Audi and a Honda Civic, according to Greenwich Time.

The Honda got off I-95 at exit 6 in Stamford, and police pursued it, according to Greenwich Time. It hit a light pole and a parked car, according to Greenwich Time.

Two 17-year-olds from Bridgeport in the car were taken into custody, while a third got away on foot, according to Greenwich Time. Police were not able to locate the Audi, but were able to determine that the Honda had been stolen in Bridgeport, Greenwich Time reported.
