Police told the Hour that the fight broke out shortly after midnight at Johnny Utah's on Washington Street. One of the men had bumped the bouncer in the chest, and the bouncer put up an elbow to defend himself, according to the Hour. The man then threatened to sue the bouncer, and all four jumped the bouncer and assaulted him, the Hour reported.

A bar patron intervened and the four men ran off on foot, according to the Hour. Police eventually were able to track down two of them, 19-year-old Colin Decker of New Preston and 20-year-old James Houldin of Wilton, the Hour reported.

Both were charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree forgery. They were given $1,500 bonds and a court date of June 23.
