The New Canaan Fire Department asked the nonprofit senior citizens services agency for help finding a wheelchair they could use for classes, said Waveny administrator Ron Bucci in a press release.

“New Canaan Fire Company No. 1 helps to keep us safe around the clock,” Bucci said.

“It's our pleasure to help support those who support us each and every day.”
