WESTPORT, Conn. -- Westport police charged a Bridgeport teen with possession of a weapon and possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Saturday, June 21, police said.

Jesse Navaer, 18, was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over and officers found a loaded BB gun in a backpack as well as marijuana, police said.  

Navaer was held on $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, July 1, according to Westport Police.
