At around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, officers received a report that a male had fallen in a garage. Upon arrival at the undisclosed address, officers learned the male had been dragged down the stairs into the garage by Ting Lu, 30, of Westport, police said.

Lu was arrested and charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. She posted $2,500 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 20.

As a condition of her release, Lu was ordered to have no contact with the victim and not to return to the address until she was advised otherwise by the court, police said.

Around 2 a.m. Sunday, the victim contacted police to say Lu had returned to the address, assaulted him as he slept and left, police said.

Armed with a warrant, officers arrested Lu again when she arrived in court for her scheduled arraignment, police said.

She was charged with third-degree assault and violation of conditions of release.

She was held on $50,000 bond and was scheduled to be arraigned on the new charges later that morning.

Police did not disclose Lu’s home address, her relationship to the victim or the age of the victim.
