Wilton Man, 30, Charged With Smoking Pot In Car With Teen

WILTON, Conn. -- A 30-year-old Wilton man is under investigation after police said they found him smoking marijuana with a 15-year-old he met through the dating app Grindr.

Garrett S. Albright, 30, of Wilton was charged with risk of injury to a minor and drug possession after he was caught smoking marijuana with a 15-year-old last month, police said.

According to police, an officer on a routine patrol spotted Garrett Stephen Albright’s Subaru Legacy parked in back of a shopping center at 21 River Road on April 20.

After observing “suspicious” activity, the officer approached the car and found Albright and the unidentified juvenile inside, police said.

Albright was found to be in possession of marijuana and had been smoking it with the juvenile, police said.

He was arrested and charged with risk of injury to a minor, possession of marijuana and having an “illegible marker” on his car, police said.

Albright posted a bond of $5,000, was released and is due to appear in court on Friday, May 29, police said.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
