New Canaan Democrats Host National Convention Viewing Party

DARIEN, Conn. – The Democratic Town Committees of Darien and New Canaan will host a viewing party Thursday for the Democratic National Convention. The party will coincide with President Barack Obama’s acceptance speech.

The viewing party will take place at Upper Crust Bakery and Café in Darien from 8 to 11 p.m. There is no charge to attend, and the event is not a fundraiser. Upper Crust will be offering its evening menu of appetizers, soups, salads and sandwiches, as well as beer, wine and soft drinks.
